Nicole Merritt Patterson
Attorney
Nicole Merritt Patterson is an NC licensed attorney. She is the founder and sole attorney at Merritt Law.
After earning her Juris Doctor in December 2014, she went on to earn her license to practice law in NC in 2015. Nicole is a proud alumna of Lenoir Rhyne University.
Nicole is family driven and her true passion is being a mom to her beautiful daughters. Nicole and her daughters love spending time together, taking care of their dog Remi & anything outside!
Courtney Haslett
Assistant
As one of the Assistants at Merritt Law, Courtney is is always available to provide information or assist clients throughout the process of their file.
Courtney is a rarity as she grew up here in North Carolina and appreciates the local history. In her free time, she enjoys going to museums, playing with her pets and watching classic movies and tv shows.
Remi May
The Office Dog
You can spot her upstairs most days watching clients come and go. She is a bit of a nervous girl, but she is very friendly and loves chicken nuggets.
Maggie Smith
Office Administrator & Lead Accountant
Maggie is the Office Administrator and Lead Accountant for Merritt Law.
Maggie is a graduate from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where she earned her dual Bachelor’s degree.
Maggie loves to spend time traveling with her husband, reading and volunteering with local rescues. She is always fostering a new dog or cat, so if your looking for a new family member, ask her who she is currently fostering!
